In a new wave of web design it is clear that less is more – meaning less clutter and more space to emphasize crucial elements on the site. Rep. Ron Paul from Texas launched its new website with a slick Twitter, and YouTube feeds while integrating a solid new social blogging platform. The site doesn’t look like every other congressional website with blended district images instead like the rest of the site; the banner is clean, bold, and to-the-point.

TX-14th district constituents won’t have to look hard for breaking information affecting the area or become a twitter follower. The new website features a prominent “media” section as well as a section dedicated solely for announcements and events from the Congressman. The site has a personal touch as well with a “Texas Straight Talk” section that offers immediate sign up service for email newsletters and direct mail.

Visit Mr. Ron Paul new website at http://www.paul.house.gov and contact Ab Emam at 703-652-7103 for more information.

Georgia official hires district based designers and hires GovTrends for implementation.

GovTrends is excited to announce the launch of Congressman Jim Marshall’s (GA-8) new congressional website. Thanks to the tireless and dedicated work ethic of the GovTrends team assigned to this project, Rep. Marshall’s site was developed and approved for launch within a month of final design approval by the Congressman’s office.

While the design of the new site was created by an external contract designer, GovTrends is explicitly responsible for the implementation of the content management system that the design and layout is based upon. We at GovTrends are excited for this new opportunity with the office of Rep. Marshall and are thrilled to manage and build upon our relationship with his staff and his district based design team.

The Chief Deputy Whip, Congressman Kevin McCarthy launched his new congressional website to better engage with constituents and public in general. As the premier web solutions provider on Capitol Hill, GovTrends recommends congressional offices update their websites with a refreshed look and modern features once a year. In the case of Kevin McCarthy’s new site, the hip look, strolling buttons, and creative features will set the standard for the next class of congressional sites. The clean interface and high-resolution graphics and photos support an amazing constituent user experience that combines a modern look with the integration of social media features resulting in the most interactive and easily navigated congressional website.

“We know that the new Kevin McCarthy website will set the bar for all other congressional sites” said Ab Emam the founder of GovTrends. “Kevin McCarthy’s website was built using designs and features drawn from the most cutting-edge industry methods. We have crafted a standard for all other congressional websites to strive for, Kevin McCarthy’s site provides the best Constituent User Experience.
